Keeping the Balance

Last week I mentioned that if something negative happened to you, you should still stay relaxed, since there would be something positive attached to it. It is a universal law. This means, that everything strives to hold on to a certain balance. North-South, East-West, hot-cold, winter-summer, and the list goes on. Your mind/body/spirit also tries to follow these natural rules. Have you noticed that when you are emotionally drained, your body also feels week? Vice versa, when you are physically drained, you don’t feel emotional strength either. This correlation can easily be turned to your advantage if you pay attention to it.

Birth of a Blog

The day has arrived when I finally gathered the (energy/time/guts) to start this segment of my web site. Up till a short while ago, I thought of blogging as a version of facebook-talk, where some bored kids and housewives describe the growing grass or the color of the fizzling coca cola (I know a few who post a blog every hour with such vital life-changing info). I do realize the importance of keeping my followers informed and curious at the same time. Quite frankly, I got my inspiration after watching Julie-Julia, the movie. In it, Julie writes a blog about preparing meals from Julia Childs’ cookbook every day for a year. Her blogs received quite a following and plenty of positive feedback. I warmly recommend it.

Ask the Wellness Coach Part 2

Diet Education for Better HealthLet's face it: You are overweight. So are most of Americans. You want to lose a few pounds, maybe more. You have tried seemingly everything. So did most of Americans. While most of the world is struggling to make ends meet and a big part of it is actually starving, two thirds of Americans are overweight. Thirty percent are considered obese. Diabetes 2, also known as adult onset diabetes has been diagnosed with more and more school aged children every day. How can that be?

Using Your Power of Positive Thinking

It is pouring rain. Two guys are looking out the window. Darn, says one of them, look at that ugly weather. I hate it when it rains! I can’t play any golf, can’t get outside. There is just nothing to do! With that, he angrily withdraws to himself and holds a negative attitude the whole day. Wow, look at that beautiful rain, says the other one. It is perfect. I can finally pick up my favorite book and read. It is great for the grass, too. With that, he happily moves on, keeping the positive attitude the whole day. In this scenario we had two different guys with two different attitudes. One became negative, while the other one remained positive, through the same exact circumstance. One’s day was ruined, while the other’s remained perfect, just by the different way they looked at the same event. Did either one of them change the weather? No. So, why not just be the positive guy and go on in life looking at the bright side of everything. The half empty glass is always half full!

Energizing T'ai Chi Chi Kung

The 18 Steps for the Absolute BeginnerThis DVD is the result of more then ten years of practicing and teaching this graceful Chinese art and a lifetime of studying the energy fields of the body. It is not an ordinary exercise. It is based on an old design with new enhancements. While moving all your muscles and joints, you will improve your posture, balance, muscle tone, lung capacity, circulation, and overall well-being. However, the real benefits come from the invigorating energy-balancing qualities of this workout. Through this video you will not only learn how to exercise for health, but you will also learn some essential healing movements and practices. You will learn how to feel your own energy fields (Qi or Chi or Aura) and even manipulate them in order to induce healing in your own complexity of body, mind, spirit, and emotions. Moreover, you will learn to see your energy fields! All of this knowledge comes together in the first DVD while showing you front and back views of the movements with complete explanation and even some bonus footage of T'ai Chi exercise from different places around the world. The second DVD is pure practice. Filmed at two different locations in sunny Florida it takes the student away on a relaxing, musical journey through a self-awareness inducing exercise.

Biotherapy, A Healing for the 21st Century

Biotherapy, A Healing for the 21st Century, is a comprehensive guide to self-development in energy-healing. It not only explains what bioenergy is, but it also provides a well-established lesson in biotherapy for the beginning healer. From learning about the ancient history of energy-healing to the mastery of modern healers, the reader is invited to take a trip towards self-improvement and eventually become a healer himself. Biotherapy is similar to all the other energy-balancing techniques, however, the simplicity and speed of the treatments makes it one of the most powerful healing methods ever developed. The book was written for every open-minded individual, regardless of education or religion, who wants to tap into the paranormal with his feet still touching the ground. The proven, practical exercises teach you in a matter of minutes how to see and feel the energy fields that surround us, while the explanations are still within the boundaries of modern physics and science. If that is not enough, you may continue to develop your own healing abilities through easy-to-follow instructions, and become an influential Biotherapist or even Dowser. Daniel's main objective is to show you that you don't have to be gifted in order to become a healer. All you need is desire and knowledge.

Ask the Wellness Coach Part 1

What is Wellness Coaching? The coach, originally a carriage or comfortable wagon, originated in the town of Kocs (pronounced: Coch) in Hungary where it was known as the Kocsi szeker or wagon of Kocs. It was a significant improvement over existing wagons and its name recalls the town of its origins. Practically all western languages borrowed the Hungarian town's name to describe this new type of vehicle: coach. A coach will take you comfortably from point A to point B.Coaching, on the other hand, can be seen as a vehicle taking an individual or a group of people to better well being. Wellness coaching is similar in many ways to life coaching, but it provides a more detailed focus on the overall health of the individual. Wellness coaching programs are becoming an increasingly popular part of holistic health care, since they address every aspect of an individual’s well being. Coaching in the recent years has evolved from just being a health modality or therapy, to a medium for a complete life design. You may have heard of it even on Dr. Phil.
